Microsoftは22日(現地時間)、Windows 10の最新プレビュービルド「Windows 10 Insider Preview build 16296」をリリースしました(Windows Blog、MSPoweruser)。
Windows Insider Programに参加し、更新設定を”Fast”に設定しているユーザーは、既存のWindows 10環境からWindows Updateを利用して最新ビルドに更新することができます(PC版の場合「設定 > 更新とセキュリティ > Windows Update」より更新できます)。
公開されたプレビュー版は、今年の秋にリリース予定のWindows 10 Fall Creators Updateに向けた開発版ビルドで、"Skip Ahead"を選択していないFastリングユーザーに対して公開されています。
Windows 10 Fall Creators Updateは10月17日の正式公開を控え、仕上げの段階に入っています。更新ペースが上がってきていて、今回のビルドでも以下示すいくつかの項目の修正が行われているだけとなっています。
- We fixed an issue where Hyper-V couldn’t create a VM on 3rd party network storage.
- We fixed an issue where for the first few minutes after clean installing a non-English build many inbox app names might unexpectedly appear with English app names.
- We fixed an issue where gaming apps using WebView with heavy use of HTML canvas might have unexpectedly had very low FPS in recent flights.
なおアナウンスによると、今回のビルドでは、新規/追加の言語パックはインストールできないそうですが、既存の言語パックは引き継がれてうまく動作するとのこと。
